Yes. The Crazy Fun Bus has £2million Public Liability Insurance.
Who’s responsible for the supervision of the children?
You, as the hirer, must ensure that at least two responsible adults are present to supervise the children at all times. Our driver will stay with the bus throughout the hire period, but supervision is your responsibility.
Has the bus got toilet facilities?
No. You, as the hirer, will have to ensure that toilet and hand washing facilities are close by, and that a responsible adult is available to supervise the children using these facilities.
What if it rains on the day?
The playbus is a self-contained play area, and so is not affected by the weather.
How much notice do I have to give if I want to book the play bus?
The more notice you can give us the better to avoid disappointment, although we are sometimes able to attend ‘last minute’ bookings and so it’s always worth phoning us to check availability.
How do I go about making a booking?
The first step is to contact us to check availability. You can do this by phoning us on 01904 750 667 or by filling in our ONLINE ENQUIRY FORM form. We will then be able to confirm availability, or offer you an alternative date and/or time. After that we will ask you to complete a BOOKING FORM (which can be downloaded and printed from this site)
What does a Provisional Booking mean?
A Provisional Booking is when we have confirmed that the date and time you want the bus for is available, or have offered you an alternative which you’ve agreed to, and you have agreed to fill in a Booking Form and send a Deposit in order to secure the booking.
We hold Provisional Booking for 7 days. If we have not received your Booking Form and Deposit by the end of those seven days, we reserve the right to offer that date and time to any other customer.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
We require a £30 deposit for all bookings. Cheques need to be received at least 14 days prior to the party date. Please do not send us your deposit until you have received confirmation of the booking from us.
I’ve just sent off my enquiry form. Does this mean I’ll definitely get the bus for the times I specified?
Sending in the online Enquiry Form is NOT confirmation that you will automatically get the Crazy Fun Bus on the date and at the time you want. We work on a first come, first served basis. If another customer has already booked the playbus for that date and time we will contact you to offer you the closest available alternative time and date.
At what stage am I fully booked in, then?
Once we have confirmed a suitable date and time with you, you will be asked to fill out a Booking Form and post it to us, together with your deposit. Cheques must reach us at least 14 days before the date of your hire. Your booking will be secure once we have received your Booking Form and Deposit.
When do I have to pay?
A deposit of £30 is required for all bookings and this needs to be paid prior to the booking date. The remaining balance can be paid either by cheque or by cash to the driver at the beginning of your hire. All cheques must be received at least 14 days before the booking date.
Who do I make a cheque payable to?
Cheques should be made payable to Crazy Fun Bus.
What if I have to cancel my booking?
If the cancellation is made at least 14 days before the party then a full refund of your deposit will be given. Within 14 days no refund will be given, although we will allow you a credit for another time (within 3 months of the original party date) convenient to both you and us.
Is there anything the children shouldn’t wear while on the bus?
Outdoor footwear must be removed and the children should wear socks at all times. Storage for footwear is available on board. Jewellery must also be removed.
How many children is the bus suitable for? And what age group?
The Crazy Fun Bus is suitable for up to 16 children aged between 3 and 8.
I don’t think there’s enough space outside my house for the bus. Can I still have a Crazy Fun Bus party?
We need enough room to manoeuvre the bus and park it safely without restricting other road users access. If you don’t think it’s possible for the bus to travel down your street or road, we recommend that you book the nearest car park, open space or relatives house. You are responsible for any fees incurred for parking the bus at an alternative location.
